Terms of use

SuperMed is study material written by students for students at the Medical University of Sofia. It is operated by SuperMed LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced under the supervision of the university or any of its departments.

By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use SuperMed. We will tell you before these terms change in any way that materially affects you, and continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new version.

Everything here is written to help you prepare for exams. None of it is medical advice, and none of it should be used to make a decision about a real patient. We review material carefully, but errors are possible - flag anything that looks wrong and it goes back for review.

We do not promise that using SuperMed will make you pass anything. It is a study tool, and how it goes still depends on you.

You must be at least 16 years old, give us a real name and a real email address, and keep them current. One person, one account.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into it.

A SuperMed account may be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new signs the previous device out, and it will say so. You can move between your laptop and your phone as often as you like - what you cannot do is use two at once, because that is what account sharing looks like from here.

We keep a record of the devices used to sign in, so that a question about your account has an answer. What that record holds is set out in the privacy notice.

Do not give anyone else your login. Do not sell, rent, lend or pool access. An account being used by more than one person is a breach of these terms, and where we find it we may suspend or close the account with no refund.

We look for it by pattern, not by watching you: a single account signing in from many devices in a short space of time is the signal. If we get it wrong, tell us and we will look properly.

Some of SuperMed is free and always will be. The rest is on the Super plan, billed monthly or every three months through Stripe. Prices are shown inclusive of any tax that applies to you.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your billing page: you keep Super until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

If a payment fails we will try again for a short while and tell you. If it keeps failing, Super access stops and your account reverts to the free plan - your progress is untouched and waiting if you come back.

You may have a statutory right to cancel a recent purchase and be refunded; where you do, that right applies whatever this page says. Beyond that, we do not refund part-used periods, and we do not refund an account closed for breaking these terms.

We may change what the Super plan costs. An existing subscription keeps its price until the end of its current period, and we will tell you at least 30 days before a change takes effect.

Every note, question, flashcard, diagram, explanation and SuperPrep™ set on this platform is our copyright or is used by us under licence. So is the way it is organised, sequenced and presented - the selection and arrangement is itself protected.

Your subscription buys you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read and study this material, for as long as your account is open. It does not transfer ownership of anything, and it grants you no right to reuse the material anywhere else.

You may not, in whole or in part, by any means and for any reason:

• copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute it;
• sell, rent, sub-licence, lend or share it, whether or not you charge for it;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, systematically screenshot, or use any automated means to extract it;
• use it to train, fine-tune, evaluate or ground any machine learning model, including a language model;
• create derivative works from it, including translations, summaries, decks or question banks built from it;
• remove or obscure any notice of authorship or copyright.

Making a personal note or printing a page to read on the train is fine. Passing any of it to somebody who does not have an account is not, and neither is rebuilding it somewhere else in a different shape.

If we find you doing any of this, your account will be closed immediately, with no refund of anything you have paid, and we may pursue legal action for the infringement and for any loss it causes us. Copyright infringement is not only a breach of these terms; it is unlawful in its own right.

SuperPrep™ is our name for the study mode that feeds you one small piece of material and then asks you about all of it before moving on. The name, the method, the material-question set format, the proficiency model behind it and the software that runs it are our intellectual property.

We treat the design of that system - how material is cut into pieces, how questions are matched to it, how proficiency is calculated and how the schedule adapts to you - as proprietary and confidential. You are not permitted to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive it, nor to build a competing product from what you learn by using it.

Nothing on this platform grants you any right to our name, our logo, SuperPrep™, or any other mark we use.

Anything you type into SuperMed - your answers, and any correction or note you send us - remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it so the platform can work, and to use it in an anonymous, aggregated form to make the material better. If you report an error and we fix it, that fix becomes part of the platform.

Do not:

• try to get at parts of the platform you have not paid for, or at anybody else’s data;
• probe, scan or test the security of the service, or work around any limit or access control;
• put load on it that a person could not plausibly generate, or interfere with anybody else’s use of it;
• upload anything malicious, unlawful, or that infringes somebody else’s rights;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with the university.

Found a security problem? Tell us at supermedinfoltd@gmail.com before you tell anyone else, and we will not come after you for finding it.

You can close your account at any time from your settings. It deletes your progress and cancels any subscription immediately.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms - account sharing, redistributing our material, or misusing the platform. Where the breach is serious we will do it without notice and without a refund. Where it is not, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right.

If we ever stop running SuperMed we will give you reasonable notice, stop taking payments, and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

We work to keep SuperMed available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance happens, and so do outages we do not control.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - including exam results - and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep any protection that your own country’s law gives you and cannot be deprived of it by this paragraph.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still stand.
