SuperPrep: recall practice built on your syllabus

One small piece of material, then questions on all of it, answered from memory with the material out of sight. Every topic is split into sets like this, and every set comes back for review when you are about to forget it.

4,148 sets across 4 subjects so far

How a set works

  1. 1. Read. A short passage from the topic’s notes, small enough to hold in your head.
  2. 2. Recall. The material goes away and ten questions cover all of it. Each answer is marked the moment you give it, and a near-miss in spelling is forgiven when it is clearly the right word.
  3. 3. Go again. The ones you missed come back once at the end of the set, so you produce the answer yourself before moving on.
  4. 4. Review. Each set is rescheduled by how you did on it, and returns when it is due. A ring on every topic shows how much of it you can actually recall, not how much you have read.

Pick the grade you are aiming for

Bulgarian exams are graded 2 to 6. SuperPrep asks what you are aiming for and gives you the sets that get you there.

  • High yield (3-4) - The half of the topic most likely to come up, and the core questions on it.
  • Knowledge+ (4-5) - High yield, plus the next layer of detail and harder angles.
  • Proficiency (6) - Everything in the topic, every question.

Eight question types

So it is recall rather than recognition: most questions ask you to produce the answer, not spot it.

  • Choose one - pick the right answer from a short list
  • Fill the gap - type the missing term into a sentence
  • Several gaps - complete a whole passage, gap by gap
  • Label the figure - name the structures on a diagram or micrograph
  • Fill the figure - type terms onto an image
  • Complete the diagram - fill the missing boxes in a flow or hierarchy
  • Either / or - choose between two options on each row
  • Sort the rows - put each item in the right column of a table
